Job description

Immediate need for a talented Desktop Support Technician. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Auburn, AL (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
  • Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
  • Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Tracks network connection issues back to network switches.
  • Escalates problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve.
  • Represents the client in a professional manner and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
  • Interacts with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information.
  • Top skills required: Deskside Support and Customer Service. Work hours: M-F 8 am-5 PM.
  • Deskside support role involving hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks, no on-call.
  • A+ certification is a plus; experience of a minimum of 3 years is required.
