Job summary

A leading IT consulting firm in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Desktop Support professional to assist end users and maintain desktop systems. This role involves supporting Windows and MAC applications, ensuring security and system uptime, and providing user support across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical, initiative, and communication skills.
• Understanding of desktop, server, network, and telephony components.
• Ability to document all work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support for all Windows services and applications for desktop at Clifton.
• Support for all MAC services and applications for desktop at Clifton.
• End user support on all corporate platforms including mobile devices.
• Regular maintenance and updates to all applications and desktop hardware.
• Monitoring all Clifton desktop systems to ensure error detection as early as possible.
• Ensuring uptime of all desktop systems in line with any SLAs.
