Job summary

Alpha Technologies Inc USA is looking for an IT Support Technician based in Chicago, Illinois. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing printers, PCs, and laptops while providing technical support to users both in-person and over the phone.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office, along with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The candidate will handle a variety of tasks, manage support queues, and assist in enhancing workflow processes.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing printers, PCs, and laptops.
• Ability to manage a work queue in a ticketing system.
• Moderate proficiency in troubleshooting desktop computer issues, both hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial troubleshooting of application and hardware issues; resolve moderate complexity issues.
• Perform Active Directory actions such as password resets and data entry as required.
• Provide Level 1 technical support for users of desktop hardware and software.
