Insight Global is hiring an IT Specialist to support Windows workstations and peripheral devices, with a focus on delivering strong customer service onsite in Corpus Christi, TX. The role includes setting up hardware, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with collaboration tools like MS Teams and SharePoint.

The position is a 6-month contract that may convert to a full-time role, offering a salary range of $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have experience supporting Windows OS environments and setting up PC devices.
• Experience building laptops/desktops (Windows 10 or newer).
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience providing direct technical support to customers (remote or in-person).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 products including MS Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for internal customers.
• Set up and support Windows workstations and peripheral devices (monitors, docking stations).
• Assist with VoIP phones and conference room technologies; help install servers and network switches as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers, peers, and suppliers while collaborating with infrastructure teams.

Schedule:

5 days a week ONSITE, hours 7am-4pm (9x80 schedule)

MUST-HAVE:

• Experience supporting Windows OS environments and setting up PC devices
• Experience building laptops/desktops (windows 10 or newer)
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software related issues
• Experience providing direct (remote or in-person) technical support to customers
• Experience with using and supporting Microsoft 365 products and services, including MS Teams and SharePoint
• Fantastic communication skills

PLUSSES:

• Experience using ServiceNow for tracking incidents and requests
• Experience using Microsoft SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, any automation

Day-to-Day:

This position will allow the opportunity to support internal customers both remotely and in person with various hardware/software related issues. You will be responsible for setting up and supporting Windows workstations and peripheral devices (e.g., monitors, docking stations, etc.), VoIP phones and conference room technologies, occasionally installing (rack/cable) servers and network switches, etc. This is a customer facing role, where you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with customer, peers, and suppliers. You will also be working hand in hand with neighboring infrastructure teams and will likely be able to grow your professional skills in networking, servers, cybersecurity, etc. We are looking for a well-rounded IT Specialist with fantastic communication skills.
