Job summary

Beacon Technologies seeks a Desktop Support II Technician to deliver hands-on support for desktop systems, devices, and peripherals at our Madison office. The role reports to the IT Operations Manager and drives ITSM improvements with a focus on user experience.

The candidate should have 4–7 years in desktop support, strong communication with executives, and familiarity with ITIL/ITSM concepts. Local WI residency is required; no relocation offered.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of desktop support experience.
• Experience imaging, diagnosing, patching and deploying desktop systems and hardware.
• Excellent communication with executives and staff.
• Familiar with ITIL/ITSM best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person IT support to staff at the Madison office.
• Serve as escalated level support from help desk.
• Maintain knowledge of desktop OS, applications, hardware, printers and mobile devices.
