Desktop Support Hardware Install Technician

This is an 8+ month opportunity supporting a well-known company in the area, conducting a nationwide equipment rollout and integration. The candidate for this role will need good written and excellent clear verbal communication skills. IT support or hardware install experience is helpful but not mandatory. The candidate must be comfortable commuting in Harrisburg and surrounding areas and have reliable transportation. If this role interests you, please apply.

Contract: June 2025 - February 2026

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Pay: Hourly + Mileage (0.43/mile)

Responsibilities:

• Install computers, printers, scanners, workstations (laptops or desktops), routers, and switches. Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Provide training as needed.
• Cleanup of materials and preparation of legacy devices for pickup and shipping.
• Customer service and educating employees on system and equipment changes.

Requirements:

• IT training/experience preferred.
• Comfortable driving to installation locations.
• Own reliable transportation.

Schedule:

• Support and install days are Monday through Friday.
