Description

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing high-quality repair services on equipment to meet customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner, ensuring maximum value for work performed.

What You'll Do

• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Use hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, instruments, and laptops.
• Understand manuals, schematics, parts books, and installation instructions.
• Maintain basic knowledge of engine and compressor systems.
• Troubleshoot system errors.
• Master basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, laptops, diagnostic software, and rigging equipment.
• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and metrics.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately complete paperwork and access required databases (work orders, parts, safety forms, etc.).
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and write routine reports.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Knowledge of database and internet software, and order processing systems.
• Clean driving record; must be at least 21 to operate field vehicle.
• May require DOT physical and MSHA certification.
• Flexibility to work various schedules.

Additional Information

Physical demands include standing, walking, handling tools, climbing, and vision requirements. The work environment involves exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, weather conditions, and noise. Travel up to 95%. This is a safety-sensitive, remote position. The job description may change as needed.
