Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day end-user support in Oklahoma City. You will diagnose and resolve issues on laptops/desktops, deploy hardware, and manage tickets to ensure uptime.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, experience with imaging/deployment tools, and proficient problem-solving. You will collaborate with local teams and follow up to ensure systems remain fully functional.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as Technical Support Engineer or Desktop Support Engineer
• Proven experience with Windows/Mac OS environments
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal to non-technical staff

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop support to end users.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve system issues on laptops and desktops (OS & hardware).
• Maintain stock levels of equipment and inventories.
• Build and deploy end-user hardware from tablets to desktops.
• Take ownership of tickets and tasks using ServiceNow.
• Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams in a timely manner.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Refer to internal resources for accurate tech solutions.
• Document knowledge in notes and manuals.
• Ensure IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
