Kite Human Capital Limited is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer for its New York office. You will be the go-to technology expert, delivering white-glove support to Portfolio Managers, traders, and high-level executives in a fast-paced trading environment.

You will own all end-user technology on-site, install and upgrade setups, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with the global technology team to maintain smooth operations for a world-class trading office.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop support in hedge funds, investment banks or trading floors.
• High proficiency with Bloomberg Terminal and front-office users.
• Excellent communication and VIP support capabilities.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Desktop Support Engineer to be the go‑to technology expert for a leading global macro hedge fund’s New York office. As the sole engineer on site, you’ll provide white‑glove support to Portfolio Managers and senior executives, keeping a fast‑paced trading environment running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing first‑class desktop, hardware and software support to Portfolio Managers, traders and executives.
• Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting Bloomberg Terminals and other trading‑floor technology.
• Owning the New York office’s end‑user technology, from setup and upgrades through to incident resolution.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven desktop support experience within a hedge fund, investment bank or trading environment.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Bloomberg and supporting front‑office users.
• A confident, self‑sufficient professional with excellent communication skills and experience supporting VIPs.

The details:

• $175,000 - $200,000 base salary, plus a 25% bonus.
• New York office‑based.
• High‑ownership role as the sole on‑site engineer, working closely with the fund’s wider global technology team.
