Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support and maintain desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues within their service area and across the organization.

This role involves installing software, configuring system settings, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and responding to ticket requests while occasionally traveling to other sites for on-site deskside support.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent work experience.
• ITIL knowledge and industry certifications preferred.
• Experience providing end-user IT support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Support end-users for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices including telecom and email services.
• Diagnose and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues and minimize downtime.
• Perform hardware/software inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide deskside support as needed.
• Travel between facilities to deliver on-site IT support.
