Job summary

TeamSoft is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst for Cedar Rapids, IA. This on-site contract role supports a device lifecycle project, including imaging, end-user support, and hardware setup.

Requirements include 2+ years of PC support, Windows OS experience, imaging tools, and basic networking. You will install, configure, document, and train users while maintaining hardware inventory and responding to escalated issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PC support experience in a networked environment.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, standard software packages, imaging tools, profile migration, and PC hardware troubleshooting.
• Understanding of software distribution concepts.
• Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routers).

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot PC and end user devices across LAN/WAN, mobile, and remote environments.
• Install, configure, document, test, and maintain client computing hardware and software.
• Provide end-user support, technical guidance, and basic training; create and update technical and user documentation.
• Review and recommend workstation hardware based on business requirements.
• Manage desktop move/add/change requests and maintain accurate hardware inventory.
• Resolve escalated Help Desk issues, including 24/7 on call rotation.
• Plan and implement hardware upgrades and prepare contingency plans for potential issues.

Desktop Support Analyst

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (on site 5 days/week)

Pay Rate: $20/hr - $28/hr (variable dependent)

Duration: 4+ months contract

Description: Help Desk / Desktop Support resource to assist with an annual device lifecycle project. General duties will consist of unboxing new devices, device imaging, building new machines, processing machines for terms, software deployment, profile building, and white glove service to end users as part of the project.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of PC support experience in a networked environment.
