Job summary

TEKsystems is offering a Contract to Hire IT Support Technician role based in San Francisco, CA. The position focuses on Level 2 end-user support, PC setup, Active Directory administration, and regional ticket handling.

The role requires onsite work in San Francisco with responsibilities spanning desktop support, vendor coordination, and involvement in IT projects to maintain service levels and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Provide Level 2 End User Support across the region.
• Complete PC setup and deployment for new employees.
• Document and escalate tickets with technical notes.
• Manage Active Directory for user and computer accounts.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and procurement.
• Maintain network printers and VoIP readiness.
• Support software updates and local server software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to support tickets in queues; meet SLAs/OLAs.
• Assist with regional IT coordination and projects.
• Maintain backups and network file/print services.
• Provide telephone support in centralized VoIP locations.
• Handle legal hold procedures and backup media as requested.
• Coordinate office moves or remodels as needed.
