Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract hardware troubleshooter to join our on-site team in Spring, TX. The role focuses on enterprise hardware, displays, and docking troubleshooting, including GPUs, firmware, BIOS, and OS-related configurations.

You will reproduce issues, validate hardware changes, and work hands-on with multi-monitor environments. The position is fully onsite in Spring, TX, offering pay between $33.00 and $36.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting PCs, monitors, docks, USB-C/Thunderbolt, DisplayPort/HDMI, cables, and multi-monitor setups.
• Ability to reproduce issues, perform A/B testing, isolate variables, and determine root cause rather than relying on reboots or swaps.
• Experience testing graphics drivers, firmware, BIOS, OS changes, and hardware configurations for validation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
