TEKsystems is seeking an IT Support specialist to provide hands-on desktop and server support for lab environments in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves assisting with diverse operating systems including Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu and Solaris, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and government regulations where applicable.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform hardware and software maintenance, and communicate system outages and maintenance to customers.

Formación

• 2+ years in mid/large enterprise environments in at least two of: client hardware support, customer service, Windows XP or newer OS.
• Government security clearance is a nice to have but not required.

Description

This position will provide IT support for labs. Our labs serve as a workspace for a variety of engineering activities. The client landscape includes a variety of current and legacy technology including; Windows, Red Hat, Ubuntu, Solaris systems and accompanying hardware. Lab systems adhere to strict Government regulations and team members must operate in accordance with Corporate policies.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
