Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Desktop Technician for an enterprise financial services client in Baltimore, MD (onsite). You will image, configure, and deploy end-user devices, perform QA checks on Microsoft 365 apps and security settings, and support large-scale rollout initiatives.

The role requires Windows 11 experience, hands-on deployment skills, and strong customer service. Will collaborate with Asset Management, Desktop Support, and remote build teams to ensure secure, compliant device

Qualifications

• Windows 11 installation, imaging, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with large-scale deployments or rollout initiatives is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise deployment and endpoint-management tools such as Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and Company Portal.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, OneDrive, BitLocker, Zscaler, device drivers, wired and wireless connectivity, and endpoint security agents.
• Ability to troubleshoot failed builds, software installations, certificates, remote access, virtual endpoints, and hardware-related configuration issues.
• ServiceNow experience and/or strong familiarity with ticket-based workflows and documentation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, reimage, and prepare laptops, VMs, and desktops per firm standards.
• Perform QA checks on Microsoft 365 apps, drivers, network, BitLocker, Zscaler, and overall readiness.
• Prepare and deploy devices for new hires, hardware refreshes, and large-scale rollouts.
• Manage device-config tasks and maintain asset/ownership/work-note records in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate handoffs and issue resolution with Asset Management, Desktop Support, and remote/on-site teams.
• Install standard and specialized software, support VDI and Windows 365 deployments.
