Job summary

IntelliDyne Jobs for Veterans is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Falls Church, VA to represent the company in client engagements and provide comprehensive desktop and software support. You will address hardware, software, and network issues, assist with backups/restores, and deliver user training and direct assistance.

The role requires 4+ years of enterprise support experience or 8 years with a high school diploma, and an active DoD Public Trust or higher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years technical support experience or HS diploma with 8 years technical support experience.
• Minimum of 4 years enterprise experience in commercial or government environment.
• Must have an active DoD Public Trust or higher.
• Familiar with standard MS Office software systems and MS Project.
• Possess knowledge of workstation administration and imaging.
• Basic network support experience including Active Directory account administration.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to gain internal support and operate independently without supervision.
• Must be able to establish solid working relationships with customers, technical staff, managers and peers.

Responsibilities

• Representing IntelliDyne and its interests in client engagements.
• Addressing and correcting hardware, software or connection issues.
• Supporting Desktop and Laptop users and solving problems with Microsoft, Adobe, Roxio and other deployed software.
• Resolving problems through customer education, training and direct assistance.
• Ensuring backup, recover and data restoration from workstations during upgrades or problems diagnosed.
• Responding and correcting formatting for printing and peripheral issues as they arise.
• Providing phone and in-person support to users for systems, including e-mail, LAN/WAN, user accounts, Active Directory, standard desktop images and applications, COTS and GOTS applications.
• Serving as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems, including hardware/software, passwords, and printer problems.
