Job summary

Reed Smith LLP. is seeking a Deskside Support Specialist in Los Angeles to provide second-level application and hardware support, including deskside and phone support and one-on-one training.

You will handle end-user issues, install devices, and assist with system maintenance as part of a collaborative IT team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with two years of relevant IT support experience; familiarity with legal software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Additional training or certification in a relevant area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside support for Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, iManage Worksite, Elite 3E, email and proprietary applications.
• Provide deskside hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and peripherals.
• Prepare and install devices; coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Install pre-approved software and hardware per guidelines.
• Provide second-level support on issues escalated from IT Help Desk.
• Escalate unresolved problems and assist with documentation.
