Job summary

GABLETEK is seeking a Desktop System Administrator to be the go-to person for hands-on IT support and to keep end users, hardware, and systems running smoothly. The role involves troubleshooting, deploying machines, and supporting engineering software across the organization.

Open to recent grads with training provided. You will join a collaborative IT team and gain exposure to a range of hardware and software, including AutoCAD, UG, CATIA, and Solidworks in a teaching-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT/computer support experience or IT/CS/IS degree
• Familiarity with Windows 7/10, Office, GSuite, and Active Directory
• Helpdesk/ticketing system experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level troubleshooting for hardware and software issues
• Install, configure, and support laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment
• Image and deploy machines using SCCM/Symantec Ghost
• Support specialized engineering software (AutoCAD, UG, CATIA, Solidworks, etc.)
• Set up new equipment, network print queues, and user workstations
• Troubleshoot and patch corporate software applications
• Track and resolve issues through our ticketing system
• Manage IT asset inventory and coordinate with vendors and other IT teams
