AMERICAN SYSTEMS in Maryland is seeking a Deskside Administrator II to provide on-site IT support in a government enterprise. You will work face-to-face with users, document activity in the ticketing system, manage issues from intake to resolution, and coordinate with the Help Desk Manager to meet contract SLAs.

The role requires 3–4 years of deskside experience, an active clearance (Secret or Top Secret with SCI eligibility), and IAT Level II certifications.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required with active clearance or eligibility for Top Secret with SCI.
• 3–4 years of deskside or technical support experience.
• Current 8570/8140 IAT Level II certifications (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; familiar with ITSM and remote support.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software and network issues at user workstations.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and Windows OS and applications.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and perform device imaging.
• Document incidents in the ticketing system and assist with access management under security protocols.
• Mentor Deskside Administrator I staff and help meet SLAs.
• Support COMSEC and classified assets per government policy.
