Job summary

BJU Press is seeking a DesignOps Coordinator to support the Art & Design team by organizing art workflows, tracking schedules, and coordinating artists. You will ensure timely delivery of in-house and outsourced assets, monitor costs and budgets, and communicate milestones across departments to maintain creative quality and productivity.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s with relevant experience, strong organization and proactive communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an associate’s with 2+ years of relevant coordination experience.
• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or production support.
• Proficiency with project management or scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of design or illustration workflows preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain art schedules and deadlines across projects.
• Coordinate outsourced illustrators, track costs, and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare instructions and files for external illustrators.
• Monitor progress and update teams to align with milestones.
• Assist with resource planning by tracking in-house illustrators.
• Liaise with Operations & Project Management for updates.
• Refine DesignOps processes and documentation.
• Perform administrative and task-tracking duties as assigned.
