Job summary

BMA Architects is seeking a Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Bridgehampton studio in a full-time, hybrid role. You will work closely with senior staff and project teams from schematic design to construction administration, developing design intent and ensuring high-quality execution.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture, strong design and organizational skills, and proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Strong design, graphic and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, and graphics.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards & construction.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, energetic with exceptional design, graphic, communication and organizational skills.
• Computer skills including SketchUp, Midjourney, D5, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively with clients, consultants, vendors etc.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate/commute to Bridgehampton, NY.

BMA Architects is a collaborative design studio specializing in luxury modern residential work. From New York to California, from the beach to the mountains, we create highly personalized homes that function as individual retreats.

We’re currently seeking a Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Bridgehampton studio.

This is a full-time, hybrid position in our Bridgehampton, NY studio. Candidates should currently live within a practical commuting distance or have a realistic plan to relocate to the East End of Long Island

Striving to create modern architecture as a respite for the demands of modern lives, our studio & design process focuses on extensive research, collaboration, support, curiosity and trust from project inception through project closeout.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior staff, the firm’s partners and your respective project teams to develop and carry out the design intent of projects from schematic design to construction administration. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, organized and detail oriented with a passion for architecture.

REQUIREMENTS
