Job summary

BMA Architects is seeking a Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Bridgehampton studio in a full-time, hybrid role. You will work closely with senior staff and project teams from schematic design to construction administration, developing design intent and ensuring high-quality execution.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture, strong design and organizational skills, and proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Strong design, graphic and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, and graphics.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards & construction.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, energetic with exceptional design, graphic, communication and organizational skills.
• Computer skills including SketchUp, Midjourney, D5, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to work independently & collaboratively with clients, consultants, vendors etc.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to relocate/commute to Bridgehampton, NY.
