Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $280,000.00/yr

Founded in 2016, we are a late stage semiconductor startup that is building a custom processor designed to handle general purpose computing, HPC, and AI workloads to be more cost-effective and power-efficient than anything ever before.

We are seeking Design Verification Engineers at various seniority stages who come from a flexible and complex background, are well versed in subsystems, and are proficient in things like C/C++, Python, UVM, and SystemVerilog.

Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Sunnyvale CA or Las Vegas NV.

What You Will Be Doing

• Review product designs noting likely points of failure
• Design verification methodology based on product designs and failure points
• Determine test environments and verification tools
• Plan the method of sequence for testing operations
• Institute and tweak testing mechanisms and protocols
• Writing up final test procedures and training QC staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• 6+ years in Design Verification
• Proven debugging skills and experience with FPGA platforms
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and scripting (Perl/Python)
• Proficient in C, C++, TCL, and/or Expect
• Strong in SystemVerilog and UVM
  
  

Knowledge in one or more of the following areas

• Verification environments and tools
• Processor and GPU architectures
• Cache systems, MMUs, and coherency protocols
• Standard protocols (PCIe, DDR4/5)
• Regression infrastructure and test planning
• Assertion-based verification (SVA/OVA)
• Functional coverage and formal verification tools (e.g., Jasper, ACL2)
