Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Towson, MD, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Design to Value and Productivity.

You will lead DTV, platforming and sourcing initiatives, identifying cost savings across the POWER TOOLS product portfolios while partnering with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing and Operations to deliver ROI. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3+ years in project management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Functional project management experience in design/manufacturing of consumer products.
• Ability to understand engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
• Experience delivering presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Manufacturing operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the DTV, Productivity, Platforming, and Sourcing initiatives by identifying cost savings opportunities for product within the POWER TOOLS portfolio.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sourcing, and Operations to identify opportunities and execute them with ROI measurement.
• Deliver plans and drive execution to reduce product costs and increase margins.
• Drive sourcing productivity projects and lead Engineering, Testing and Qualification initiatives.
• Travel nationally and internationally (10%) as needed.
