Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Design Supervisor to lead the design team, coach staff, and drive sales through design services.

You will ensure customers have a positive experience by providing expert advice on tile, wood, stone and accessories for residential and commercial projects. You will manage appointments, build relationships with clients and designers, and collaborate with store leadership to deliver design solutions and installations while staying current with trends and

Qualifications

• BA/AA in Interior Design or 6 years interior design experience.
• Combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop a dynamic and motivated design team, including performance evaluations.
• Greet store customers in a helpful manner and support design walk-in needs.
• Maintain master store design appointment calendar and schedule design appointments for existing and potential customers.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders for projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional and aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects through all phases with timeliness and accuracy, with clear communication.
• Collaborate with store leadership to manage projects from inquiry to installation and achieve sales goals.
• Support all company design initiatives and maintain design center standards.
