Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Design Coordinator to support the design experience by organizing appointments, store events, and sales aids. You will assist Designers with consultations, projects, and customer outreach, delivering exceptional service on the sales floor.

You will help manage appointments, replenish sales aids, and participate in in-store events while staying informed on product details and trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in Retail or Customer Service.
• Experience organizing events.
• Proficient in Google platforms, virtual communication, and appointment management systems.
• Understanding basic design functions (spatial planning, fabric selection, lighting, interior design styles).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and a differentiated experience by assisting customers and Designers with managing appointments and Design Desk projects.
• Own the organization and replenishment of sales aids.
• Conduct post-purchase customer outreach.
• Support Designers and Leaders by managing pipeline activities and in-store events.
• Assist customers on the floor and pass them off to Designers as appropriate.
• Understand brand aesthetics and merchandising strategy by channel: store, e-commerce, and catalog.
• Stay informed on product information and industry trends.
• Deliver sales, KPIs, service goals, and productivity standards on the sales floor.
• Listen to customers to identify products meeting their needs and explain loyalty services.
• Assist Designers with in-home and in-store consultations.
• Model excellent service with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Support store training and education on design services.
• Support large-scale projects as assigned.
