Job summary

MillerKnoll, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for our Design Within Reach stores in Santa Monica, CA. You will lead store operations, coach the team, and drive sales while upholding brand standards and design excellence.

You will report to the Regional Manager and manage end-to-end store functions, including talent, budgeting, and customer experience in a dynamic design-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated design skills and a passion for the design profession.
• Financial literacy and ability to manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships by leading and coaching a team with goal setting and recognition.
• Manage talent acquisition lifecycle with HR for performance situations.
• Ensure store procedures are followed to maximize profit and control expenses.
• Lead floorplans, design presentations, weekly trade, and home visits.
• Share insights with regional management and develop growth strategies.
