Job summary

Herman Miller is seeking a Sales & Design Specialist to blend design sensibility with consultative selling in a premium retail setting. You’ll guide clients through a personalized journey, helping them create spaces that support wellness and productivity.

You’ll report directly to the General Manager, collaborate with the A&D community, and contribute to a store that defines modern furniture for a century. This role offers growth, benefits, and a design-forward culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and client-first communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design/rendering software.
• Ability to lift/move items over 40 lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demos and consultations.
• Design tailored solutions matching clients’ needs and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building relationships and following up on leads.
• Collaborate with Architecture & Design community to grow brand awareness.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards for a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage orders accurately and efficiently.
