Job summary

FAM Brands seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Design Sample Coordinator to join our team. You’ll learn the design workflow and product life-cycle while working cross-functionally with Senior Designers, Product Development, Merchandising and Sales.

Responsibilities include trend research, creating presentation boards, tracking samples, coordinating with vendors and teams for fittings and photoshoots, and maintaining design docs with accuracy and organization.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in apparel design (internship or entry-level acceptable).
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; highly organized for sample tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design Collaboration: contribute to trend research, mood boards, and inspiration materials; prepare boards and sketches for reviews and approvals.
• Sample Coordination: track prototype/sample requests, meet deadlines and quality requirements, coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for logistics and fittings.
• Administrative & Organizational Tasks: update and maintain design documentation (tech packs, line sheets, BOMs); prepare materials for line presentations and meetings.
