Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring in-store sales professionals to drive furniture and accessory sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will participate in a design program, present customized room solutions, and execute a proven selling process to build lasting customer relationships.

Starting with training pay of $16/hour for 2-6 weeks, base pay shifts to $13.50/hour with uncapped commissions and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet design sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a strong customer experience.
• Develop sales skills across approach, discovery, presentations, objections, closing and follow-up.
• Schedule home consultations for customized room designs and professional installation.
