Job summary

La-Z-Boy is seeking a Sales Associate in Illinois to drive store sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will support design projects, promote the Design program, and guide customers through the La-Z-Boy selling process.

Training pay starts at $16 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commissions; after training, base pay and uncapped commissions drive earnings, with a potential $35,000–$55,000+ yearly total. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Persuasion and negotiation abilities are valued.
• Ability to manage time and work evenings/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet goals.
• Follow La-Z-Boy selling process to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Build relationships and provide post-sale support and follow-up.
