Closets by Design is seeking an enthusiastic Design Sales Associate to meet homeowners in their homes and design personalized storage solutions, including custom closets, garages, and home offices. The role offers paid 16-week training, pre-scheduled qualified leads, and a path to Senior Sales Designer.

You will present proposals, upsell finishes and accessories, and close sales in a consultative environment. A reliable vehicle and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong interest in home organization, space planning, or interior design.
• Positive, coachable mindset with the ability to follow a proven sales process.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Self-motivated with time management and organizational skills.
• No previous experience in design or sales required—just a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home design consultations with residential clients.
• Build rapport and perform needs assessments to understand organizational goals.
• Use design software to create custom storage solutions (closets, pantries, garages, offices).
• Educate clients on products, finishes, and accessories to upsell and customize solutions.
• Present design proposals and close sales in a consultative selling environment.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and lead conversion goals.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Represent Closets by Design with professionalism and design expertise.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Design Sales Associates to join our growing team. In this in-home sales and design consultant role, you’ll meet with homeowners to create personalized storage and organization solutions—including custom closets, garage systems, home offices, and more.

• Listed pay of $3000 to $6000 is for experienced sales reps
