Closets by Design is seeking a Design Sales Associate to meet with homeowners, design personalized storage solutions, and guide customers from concept to close. You will leverage in-home consultations and remote planning to upsell closets, pantries, and home offices.

This full-time role offers paid training, a path to Senior Sales Designer, and a performance-based commission structure within a hybrid schedule and local visits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong interest in home organization, space planning, or interior design.
• Positive, coachable mindset with the ability to follow a proven sales process.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Self-motivated with time management and organizational skills.
• No previous experience in design or sales required—just a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home design consultations with residential clients.
• Build rapport and perform needs assessments to understand organizational goals.
• Use design software to create custom storage solutions (closets, pantries, garages, offices).
• Educate clients on products, finishes, and accessories to upsell and customize solutions.
• Present design proposals and close sales in a consultative selling environment.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and lead conversion goals.
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Represent Closets by Design with professionalism and design expertise.

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven Design Sales Associates to join our growing team. In this in-home sales and design consultant role, you’ll meet with homeowners to create personalized storage and organization solutions—including custom closets, garage systems, home offices, and more.
