Stellantis Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Design Release Engineer for the Powertrain Engineering team focusing on automatic transmissions and electric drive modules. You will own release deliverables for park lock actuation components and related park/shift by wire systems, ensuring compliance with functional, performance, mechanical, electronics and software requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in design and release of actuator components (gears, bearings, bushings, shafts, and reinforced housings).
• Demonstrated virtual analysis and CAE design experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to present to executives.

Responsabilidades

• Design and release for key components and performance standards in automatic transmissions, electric drive modules, and driveline actuators.
• Lead and ensure SSTS, best practices, lessons learned and continuous improvements are integrated into product design release process.
• Lead technical infrastructure for components, documentation, requirements definitions and drawing signoffs with suppliers and tier 1/2/3 teams.
• Support warranty and quality related topics.
• Coach, mentor, and train less experienced engineers.
