Zusammenfassung

Stellantis is seeking a Design Release Engineer for its Powertrain Engineering team in Auburn Hills, MI. You will lead design and release for automatic transmissions, electric drive modules, and driveline actuators, ensuring robust requirements definition, documentation, and supplier engagement.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support warranty and quality topics to drive reliability and performance in ICE and BEV vehicles.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in design and release of actuator components (gears, bearing, bushings, shafts, GRP housings).
• Strong CAE design experience and ability to present to leadership.

Aufgaben

• Design and release for key components and performance standards for automatic transmissions and actuators.
• Lead SSTS, best practices, and lessons learned in product release process.
• Manage documentation, specifications, requirements, and signoffs with suppliers and tiers.
• Support warranty and quality topics.
• Coach, train, and mentor junior engineers.
