Job summary

Advanced Powder Products, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced engineering leader to oversee multiple programs across teams, drive schedules, and ensure quality.

You will mentor engineers, manage tooling design, align with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, and translate customer needs into technical solutions, while delivering on time and budget. Bachelor’s in engineering; 5+ years leadership in manufacturing; strong project management, CAD, and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple engineering programs across various teams and disciplines.
  • Define program scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and success metrics.
  • Oversee tooling design and development, ensuring alignment with APP standards and customer requirements.
  • Support applications engineering in translating customer needs into technical solutions and managing pre/post-sales support.
  • Guide program managers in executing customer programs on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Monitor project and tooling progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and technical excellence.
  • Develop and implement engineering policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on team performance, project status, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and program managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the creation and management of all new product launch timelines.
  • Ensure weekly customer reporting is accurate and sent on time.
  • Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff.
  • Establish policies, procedures, and standards for new product launches.
  • Use program management in ERP to help facilitate new product launches.
  • Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards.
