Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Design Lead to drive engineering design for capital projects within its Global Facilities Delivery organization. The role requires leading design standards, coordinating with Project Managers, and ensuring design reviews meet regulatory and internal requirements.

Strong PM skills and ability to influence across site teams are essential. The position involves travel (domestic/international) and relocation as needed, with compensation tied to project scale and performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing/engineering experience in pharma or API networks.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification of applicable Engineering Design Standards, Functional Standards, Specifications and Regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible for overall design delivery for capital project(s).
• Coordinate all design for the Project Manager during all design phases and deliver design reviews.
• Direct development of design requirements and assist in schedule maintenance.
• Participate in selection of A/E firms and coordinate with them to develop earned value progress.
