Job summary

Lilly is seeking a seasoned design leader to own the design delivery for capital projects. You will coordinate all design activities through the project lifecycle, drive the concept and basic design reviews, and ensure the design meets the approved intent by collaborating with the design firm, engineers, and end users.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) and at least 12 years of manufacturing/engineering experience in pharmaceutical networks.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum of 12 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience supporting pharmaceutical or API networks.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall design delivery for capital project(s).
• Coordinate all design activities with the Project Manager during all design phases and ensure conceptual and basic design reviews are completed.
• Direct the development of the design requirements.
• Assist in development and maintenance of the design schedule to meet project needs.
• Participate in the selection of A/E firms and coordinate with them to develop value and progress measurement systems.
• Ensure design meets approved intent through collaboration with design firms, engineering disciplines, and end users.
