Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Design Lead for the Global Facilities Delivery organization to oversee design delivery for capital projects and ensure adherence to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with A/E firms, lead design development, and manage design schedules to meet project needs, while supporting value engineering and governance to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing and/or engineering experience in pharmaceutical or API networks
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work authorization or visas

Responsibilities

• Lead in the identification of applicable Engineering Design Standards and Regulatory requirements.
• Be responsible for the overall design delivery for capital project(s).
• Coordinate design for the Project Manager during all design phases and deliver design reviews.
• Develop and maintain the design schedule to meet project needs.
• Participate in the selection of A/E firms and coordinate with them to develop earned value progress systems.
• Ensure design meets approved intent through collaboration with design firm and end users.
• Support value engineering exercises to maximize project opportunities.
• Review design-related invoices and participate in KPI reviews.
