Job summary

SLB is seeking a Design for Supply Chain professional in Sugar Land, TX, to guide the engineering team on supply chain concepts from concept through commercialization. You will ensure reliable, LEAN processes and collaborate with Technology, Manufacturing and Quality groups.

You will lead supplier evaluations, negotiate terms, and support cost-focused decisions, while ensuring on-time delivery for NPD programs and continuous improvement in supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, manufacturing or supply chain engineering discipline.
• Experience with sourcing and procurement of precision-machined components.
• Experience with machining and manufacturing of complex, high-precision components.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Technology Engineering team on supply chain concepts.
• Lead supplier evaluation and selection with Q/A teams.
• Negotiate prices and terms to meet Q/C and cost objectives.
• Lead contracting with suppliers in coordination with stakeholders.
• Monitor NPD sourcing projects for on-time completion.
