Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial invites applications for a Sourcing Leader in Houston. You will oversee daily sourcing activities, guide Sourcing Specialists, and ensure adherence to approved supplier agreements within NEI’s Data Center Infrastructure Solutions group.

Required are a Bachelor's in engineering or supply chain and at least four years leading sourcing or purchasing teams, with Lean/Six Sigma experience and SAP proficiency. This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager at the local site.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain is preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a purchasing or sourcing leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams within a supply chain function.
Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the sourcing plan for purchased items for the assigned groups.
Coordinate with planning and production teams to align supply and demand.
Enforce sourcing procedures and ensure compliance with terms and contracts.
Develop action plans to improve lead times, cut costs and ensure on‑time delivery.
Review open sourcing assignments from requirement through contract generation and source-list.
