Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to lead a high‑impact team in our global manufacturing environment. You will direct design engineering and PE teams, set design strategies, monitor timelines and budgets, and drive manufacturability improvements while solving complex technical challenges.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical engineering degree, 8–10 years in engineering design, 3–5 years in leadership, and strong CAD experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) required.
• 8–10 years of experience in engineering design.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
• Strong experience in manufacturing design environments.
• Experience improving drawings, bills of materials, and design for manufacturability.
• Proficiency with CAD software; strong AutoCAD and Inventor background.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in manufacturing design environments
• Experience improving drawings, bills of material, and design for manufacturability
• Proficiency with CAD software
• Strong background using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Proven ability to lead teams, solve technical design issues, and manage multiple engineering priorities
