Job summary

Emerson is seeking a student engineer for a co-op role to support engineering teams in developing design tools and refining best practices for valve systems. The position involves evaluating new designs, assisting with modifications, and addressing root causes of performance issues.

You will provide technical quotations to Global Sales and help manage orders, applications, and customer interactions, collaborating across functions to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering.
• Ability to contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering teams to develop & refine design tools and best practices.
• Assist with the evaluation of the new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications
• Troubleshoot valve performance issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause
• Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings
• Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
• Collaborate with other functional groups to improve operational efficiency
