Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a Design Engineer for their Project Delivery team in Minneapolis. This hybrid position involves traffic engineering design and project management for roadway reconstruction projects. Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree, possess EIT registration, and have strong analytical and communication skills.
The Project Delivery team of the Hennepin County Public Works Transportation department is seeking a Design Engineer with experience in traffic engineering to join the design division. This position will be responsible for performing traffic engineering design functions as well as all phases of project development for roadway reconstruction projects.

This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Public Works Facility, 1600 Prairie Drive, Medina, MN 55340, and remotely as job duties require. There is no public transportation to the facility in Medina. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but may vary depending on projects. While this position is designated as hybrid, hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details will be provided upon hire.
