Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer I to support overhead transmission line design, including PLS-CADD modeling, line routing and structure loading analysis. You will use AutoCAD, MicroStation and ArcGIS, document calculations, travel up to 10%, and collaborate with engineers to deliver safe, cost-effective power delivery solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with CAD tools and drafting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support overhead transmission line design, including PLS-CADD modeling and line routing.
• Perform structure analysis, loading trees and sag‑tension calculations.
• Prepare engineering calculations and draft/redline drawings with precision.
• Ensure compliance with design codes and project standards.
