Job summary
LJA is seeking a Design Engineer in Land Development to create design and production deliverables using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Office tools. The role involves supporting feasibility studies, cost opinions, exhibits, construction plans, takeoffs, bids, and development tasks for diverse clients.
You will work within an entrepreneurial, employee-owned environment. Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree, FE exam, and hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, with strong communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred).
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam.
- Experience in the engineering industry.
- Experience with Water Resources Software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS).
- Passed the FE Exam.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings.
- Expand engineering toolbox with advanced techniques and industry concepts.
- Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations.
- Provide information or exhibits for client and internal decision making.
