Job summary

MillerKnoll, Inc. is seeking a General Manager in Boston to lead the store team, drive the client experience, and achieve sales plans. You will coach demonstrations, quotes, and overall store performance to maximize profitability while upholding Herman Miller’s legacy of design and ergonomic innovation.

The role emphasizes hiring, performance management, and collaboration with HR and the Regional Manager to deliver outstanding results. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

3–5 years of retail management experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coach and develop a sales team.
Comfort with managing budgets and store operations.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the team through coaching.
Foster the Herman Miller Client Experience.
Engage in daily, weekly, and monthly performance management.
Ensure Studio presentation aligns with directives and standards.
Manage store shipments, expenses, and supplies.
Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with HR.
Deliver the Sales Plan.
