Herman Miller in Austin, TX, is seeking a Sales & Design Specialist who blends design sensibility with consultative selling to guide clients through personalized journeys. You’ll be the face of a legacy brand shaping modern spaces, reporting to the General Manager, and helping clients achieve wellness and productivity.

You’ll educate with in-store demos, design tailored solutions, build relationships, and collaborate with architecture & design communities to grow brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic design/rendering tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and consultations.
• Design tailored solutions aligned with clients’ needs and wellness goals.
• Drive sales by building client relationships and following up on leads.
• Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain premium store experience and visual merchandising standards.
• Process transactions and manage orders with accuracy.
