Job summary

Cohera is seeking a Design and Development Manager in New York to lead complex proposals, coordinate vendors, and align program design with client goals. The role requires strong editing, budgeting, and collaboration across Sales, Marketing and Operations to deliver high-impact experiences.

The candidate will manage pricing, vendor relations, and content creation for destination programs, while working in a flexible hybrid environment and contributing to continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years work experience with a minimum of three years in hospitality.
• At least one year work experience in proposal writing, event design, creative marketing, or destination management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full proposal process—from concept to delivery for custom, high-impact programs.
• Own all aspects of proposal development, including ideation, narrative writing, pricing, formatting, and presentation delivery.
• Coordinate vendor outreach to confirm availability and collect service information for proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Strategic teams during pre-sale phases and site visits.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and vendor documentation across proposals and internal systems.
