Job summary

Cohera is seeking a Design and Development Manager for our South Florida office. You will independently lead the full proposal process—from concept to delivery for custom programs, balancing client goals, budget, and brand identity.

You will own all aspects of proposal development, including pricing, formatting, and presentation delivery, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely completion and on-brand experiences for high-impact events.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years work experience in hospitality.
• At least one year in proposal writing, event design, marketing, or destination management.
• Strong budget management and vendor relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of local destination offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead full proposal process—from concept to delivery.
• Own proposal development, including pricing, formatting, and presentation.
• Price program components (décor, venues, staffing, transportation).
• Write and adapt creative descriptions for client materials.
• Coordinate site inspections and vendor bookings.
• Maintain communication with Sales and Strategic teams.
• Manage timelines to meet deadlines.
